Toys R Us introduces "Boo"tiques at stores
"Boo"tiques offer a fun but safe way for kids to celebrate Halloween.

Toys R Us stores and online have a new feature: "Boo"tiques. These "Boo"tiques have everything Halloween related for kids. Families can pick out costumes, accessories, candy, safety items, house decor.
Online they can browse a new costume catalog that can be searched by age, gender and customer feedback. Toys R Us believes the following categories will become the most popular this year:
- Tiny Trick-or-Treaters: Character costumes for infant and toddlers
- Halloween Heroes: Kids can now dress as their idol superheroes such as Wonder Woman or Batman.
- Wings and Things: From butterflies and bugs to winged witches, kids can take flight with these costumes.
- Muscle Madness: Boys will be boys and these costumes have muscles and padding to buff up your little man.
- Pretty, Pretty Princess: Daddy's little girl can now be the princess she always reads about and sees in movies. This costume line is jointly made by Toys R Us and Disney for a good cause: Children Affected by AIDS Foundation. These costumes are marked with CAAF hangtags. Both organizations have come together to donate $50,000 to CAAF.
To coincide with this, Toys R Us also expanded its Halloween safety product assortment to help kids go trick-or-treating safely. One of the sayings they're pushing is "Be safe. Be seen. Be spooky!" with products such as light-up lanterns, headbands and candy buckets as well as glow-in-the-dark necklaces, bracelets, masks and reflectors.

Another event Toys R Us is hosting in the spirit of Halloween is Geoffrey's Halloween Parade Featuring Crayola on Oct 30 from noon to 3pm. Kids can come in their costumes and design a Crayola Glow Explosion art piece. With this glow-in-the-dark design, they can then slide it into the outside sleeve of a complimentary reusable candy bag. Parents can also go over safety tips with their kids by signing Geoffrey's Safety Pledge.
