Weichert Begins Annual Holiday Toy Drive

The folks at Weichert in Nanuet are getting into the holiday spirit with the start of their 32nd annual Weichert Toy Drive.

The Weichert Family of Companies is accepting new, unwrapped toy donations from the community at their local sales offices from now until Dec. 10. Drop toys off at 128 E. Route 59 or call 845-624-1700 for more information. The toys will be delivered throughout the holidays in conjunction with local charities that assist financially and physically disadvantaged children.          

"Each year marks a new opportunity to make a difference and brighten the spirits of those less fortunate in this country," said Jim Weichert, president and founder of Weichert, Realtors. "I invite you to join in our effort to give the greatest gift of all this holiday season, joy, to the children and families who need it most."                

Weichert employees are taking an extra step; they're going to participate in a yearly community service event. The annual toy drive has brought in hundreds of thousands of items for underprivileged children in Nanuet and all the other communities Weichert serves.  Last year, almost 24,000 toys were distributed out across the country.
