Wrong-Way Thruway Ramp Driver Faces DWI Charge
The Nanuet resident didn't have his headlights on either, police allege.

NANUET, NY — An Orangetown police officer managed to stop an allegedly drunk driver before he got onto the New York State Thruway going the wrong way. The officer saw a 2014 Ford without its headlights on headed the wrong way up an exit ramp at Exit 11 in Nyack at 1:38 a.m. Jan. 18.
Police allege the officer found the driver, Michael D. Gordon, 61, of Nanuet, to be intoxicated.
He was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated because his blood alcohol level was 0.18 or higher.

He is due in Nyack village court Feb. 6.
