• NY Driver Who Killed Woman In Head-On Nassau Crash Charged 11 Months Later: Authorities (dailyvoice.com) — A driver has been charged with manslaughter and assault nearly a year after a deadly head-on collision on Route 20 in Nassau that killed longtime local teacher Patricia Balcom. Prosecutors say 21-year-old Cody Dunton of Canaan was driving recklessly when he crossed into oncoming traffic; he’s now out on $75,000 bail while the case moves forward.
