• Chlorine leak contained at Albany County water treatment plant (news10.com) — A chlorine leak at the New Salem Water Treatment Facility in New Scotland was quickly contained Tuesday, and officials say the public drinking water supply remained safe throughout. Plant staff followed emergency protocols, one worker was evaluated at a hospital without reported symptoms, and air monitoring found no off-site impact, as operations continue under state and federal standards.
