1K Discounted US Open Tickets Will Be Offered To New Yorkers: What To Know
Starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, NYC residents can purchase up to two tickets for $100 each on a first-come, first-served basis.
NEW YORK CITY — New York City residents will have a chance to attend the US Open at a discounted price, with 1,000 tickets going on sale Wednesday.
Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani and the United States Tennis Association announced the ticket offer as part of an effort to make major sporting events more accessible to New Yorkers.

The discounted tickets are valid for US Open Main Draw matches from Aug. 30 through Sept. 8 and include seats at Arthur Ashe Stadium and Louis Armstrong Stadium, as well as grounds passes.
The offer builds on the Mamdani administration’s efforts to expand access to major sporting events, including the upcoming World Cup.

The US Open, held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens, drew nearly 1.2 million attendees in 2025 and generates more than $1.2 billion in economic impact annually.
