2 Arrested, Pepper-Sprayed Off-Duty Cop After Argument Over Shoveling Snow
Police confirmed the attack and said the 25-year-old officer was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
NEW YORK CITY — An off-duty NYPD officer was pepper-sprayed and attacked after an apparent argument with two other people over shoveling snow during the blizzard on Monday.
The alleged attack occurred on Christopher Ave. in Brownsville around 2:45 p.m. The New York Daily News first reported on the incident.
Police confirmed the attack and said a 25-year-old woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Following the incident, Nadine Modeste, 36, and Murph Courtney, 43 were arrested and both have been charged with assault.
The two suspects are expected to be arraigned in Brooklyn Criminal Court.
