Mom who drowned 3 kids at New York City beach sentenced to 20 years to life (abc7chicago.com) — A Brooklyn mother has been sentenced in New York City to 20 years to life in prison for drowning her three young children in the ocean off Coney Island in 2022. Prosecutors detailed a frantic overnight search that ended with the children found along the Atlantic shoreline near the boardwalk. Officials emphasized the profound loss felt by the family and community.
