1. $900K In Cocaine Seized From UPS Packages Shipped To NYC (patch.com) โ New Yorkers are being warned about rising cocaine supplies after authorities seized 30 kilograms of the drug shipped in UPS packages to Brooklyn and Manhattan from California. Three people were arrested in linked July investigations involving an East Williamsburg building and a Kips Bay UPS Store, where police also found forged IDs, cash and children in a suspect's car. Officials say traffickers increasingly use ordinary delivery networks, and note cocaine may be laced with fentanyl and other synthetics, heightening overdose risks.
