Barack Obama Spotted In New York City
President Barack Obama was seen Friday leaving an office building near the Flatiron Building in New York City.
CHELSEA, NY — Barack Obama, the 44th president of the United States, was spotted Friday in New York City. Obama was seen exiting 160 Fifth Avenue, an office building near the Flatiron Building, around noon. As Obama walked to his motorcade a crowd had gathered outside the building to cheer on the former president.
Today's appearance marks the first time Obama has been seen in New York City since taking a long-deserved vacation after serving eight years in office.

It is not immediately clear why Obama was in New York City on Friday. A spokeswoman from the Obama Foundation declined to comment on Obama's reason for the visit.
