The "Paradise" art show is a collaborative environmental exhibition featuring photographs by Australian naturalist and biologist Ian Hutton and expressionist oil paintings by New York-based artist Selva Ozelli.

The exhibition showcases the rare, pristine ecosystems of the Lord Howe Island Group (LHIG) while warning that even isolated pockets of nature are vulnerable to the devastating impacts of global warming.

The exhibition captures the mystical, rare island cloud forests, summits like Mount Gower, and unique avian life native to Lord Howe Island in Ian Hutton's photographs and Selva Ozelli's Paintings featuring expressionist oil canvases from her acclaimed Ocean Lovers series, focusing on marine biodiversity and ocean preservation.

The show is part of a broader international movement linking science and art to accelerate climate awareness. It has been recognized as an official cultural event for several United Nations campaigns and global climate organizations, including the International Day for Biodiversity,The UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) for International Day of Forests, United Nations World Wildlife Day, Climate Week New York and the UN General Assembly (UNGA) Healing Arts Week.The Climate Heritage Network and the Convention on Biological Diversity for International Day for Biological Diversity events.

The traveling exhibition has been hosted at various museums, educational and historical hubs currently at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory: Located at Columbia University’s Climate School in Palisades, NY, the show runs from November 2025 through June 30, 2026 at the Lamont Café.
