Herbert Holler’s Freedom™ Party: 23 Years of Throwbacks, Dancing & Community in NYC

Herbert Holler’s Freedom™ Party — one of NYC’s longest-running dance parties — returns Friday, June 5th to (le) poisson rouge in downtown Manhattan.

For 23 years and more than 1,000 parties, Freedom™ has packed dance floors with generations of New Yorkers coming together for throwback hip-hop, R&B, reggae, house classics, singalongs, and real dancing.

Hosted by Savior Elmundo and deejayed by Herbert Holler, Freedom™ has built a reputation as one of the city’s most beloved monthly nightlife traditions — a place where people still genuinely connect, celebrate, and let go together.

The monthly event draws a diverse crowd of music lovers from across the tri-state area and is known for its high-energy atmosphere, community vibe, and packed dance floor from start to finish.
