Poster House, the first museum in the United States dedicated to the global history of posters, will host a Disability Pride Night on Wednesday July 29, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Poster House, 119 West 23rd Street in Manhattan. The evening will celebrate artistic and personal expression with a:
- Vibrant Verbal Description Tour of Poster House’s exhibition Love & Fury: New York’s Fight Against AIDS, ASL interpretation will also be provided on this tour by Inclusive Communication Services.
- Hands-on flag-making workshop where participants will create festive identity flags to celebrate themselves and connect with one another.
- Special musical performance concluding with an engaging audience Q&A exploring the power of music, the importance of inclusion, and how creating spaces where everyone belongs can transform lives.
In addition, Poster House’s Café des Affiches will be open providing delicious special cocktails inspired by the museum’s current exhibitions for purchase.
