Nazmiyal Collection is pleased to host the Hajji Baba Club for a special educational evening, Collectors in Conversation, on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Nazmiyal gallery in New York City.
The evening will bring together experts Bruce Baganz, Mary Jo Otsea, and Mike Tschebull for an informal, engaging discussion about collecting antique rugs and textiles, connoisseurship, scholarship, and the experiences that shape a collector's eye.
Rather than a formal lecture, Collectors in Conversation is intended as an exchange of ideas among people who have spent years studying, collecting, and living with historic rugs and textiles. The event is presented with the Hajji Baba Club, an organization devoted to the study and appreciation of rugs and textiles, and will take place surrounded by examples from Nazmiyal's own collection.
The discussion will be followed by a wine-and-cheese reception hosted by Nazmiyal Collection.
