Join us for a special evening with Guiding Eyes graduate and author Deni Elliott. The event will begin with welcome remarks from Guiding Eyes President & CEO Christopher Perry, followed by Deni's presentation about her life with guide dogs and her journey as an author. Deni's new memoir, Catching Sight: How a guide dog helped me see myself, has been named one of the "Dog Days of Summer" books by Penguin Random House; the audiobook was recently named Amazon's #1 New Release in Biographies of People with Disabilities. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session, experience a live guide dog demonstration, and meet Deni during a book signing following the program.
Guiding Eyes guide dogs and puppies in our Puppy Raising program that are appropriate for public access are welcome to attend, as are other ADA-recognized service dogs trained for public access.
