Chad Roffers discusses which listings site is best for sellers.
Chad Roffers provides insight on which site best helps homeowners sell their properties.

When you're trying to sell your home, reaching as many homebuyers as possible is a primary concern. This is why major national listing sites have become so popular in recent years. By making use of the internet and smartphone apps, those sites can help you reach even more people. This leaves the question of which national listing sites are the most popular.
Zillow
For years, Zillow has occupied the top spot in terms of the most popular and most effective real estate listing site on the web. As proof, just look at the more than 110 million listings the site currently boasts. That number includes homes that aren't currently on the market but are expected to be available in the near future. Additionally, the site offers rental homes, as well as homes for sale. One of the site's biggest attractions is its Zestimate calculator, which lets investors and other buyers know the potential value of each property.
Trulia
Is it fair to include Trulia, since it is owned by Zillow? Maybe not, but it nonetheless occupies the second highest spot in any list of national listing sites. Trulia does differ from its parent in that it presents more in-depth data for each listing. The site focuses on community, so it includes crime statistics, neighborhood information, and more. The site also features an online community (Trulia Voices) that can allow users to chat with brokers or agents.

Realtor.com
Rounding out the top three most widely used national listing sites is Realtor.com, which happens to the site officially used by the National Association of Realtors (NAR). While Realtor.com is similar to Trulia and Zillow in that it seeks to provide detailed information for each listing, it differs in the sources of those listings. While the other two sites rely on individual agents and home sellers to create listings, Realtor.com's listings come directly from regional MLS listings. As the information is entered, it's automatically added to the site.
While the majority of real estate agencies also operate websites, homebuyers often check these three first. The detailed information each listing provides, as well as a more comprehensive database, make these sites more worthwhile. Most listings you find on the sites for individual brokers will also be found on one or more of these sites.
