The Crossings Home to Bronx’s Third Cannabis Shops

Blumenfeld Development Group Signs to 10-year lease

The Blumenfeld Development Group (BDG) announced today, that Bronx’s third State authorized, legal Cannabis shop the Bronx Joint has opened for business in The Crossings in Hunts Point.

Located in the heart of the Bronx, the 3,000 square foot, fully licensed Cannabis Shop joins a variety of tenants across industry and sectors including: McDonalds, Dollar Tree, Dunkin Donuts, and Optimum Mobile among others.

Several state approved Cannabis shops have opened throughout New York City and the Crossings location becomes the third location in the Bronx within the past year. The new shop, which opened its doors on March 14, has exposed brick and graffiti styled murals and is supported by the New York Cannabis Social Equity Investment Fund — a statewide initiative implemented during the early days of the legal cannabis industry rollout that gives business priority to people who have been negatively impacted by the over-policing of cannabis.

Ideally located at a prime bus and subway terminal, the location lends itself to easy destination and walkable customers.
