Donald Trump Will Make His NYC Return In May

Trump will speak aboard the USS Intrepid and meet with Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.

NEW YORK, NY — Donald Trump will visit New York City on May 4 to commemorate a World War II naval battle and meet with the Australian Prime Minister, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer announced during a Tuesday press briefing.

"The President will speak aboard the USS Intrepid in New York City to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Coral Sea, a major naval battle during World War II in which the United States joined with Australia to halt the advance of enemy forces," Spicer said Tuesday.

New Yorkers, circle May 4 on your calendars and give yourself some extra time for transportation — increased security measures will likely make getting around the city a mess.
