Golden Globe Winner Teams Up With MTA To Record Subway PSAs

The Valentine's Day message will be playing in subway stations throughout the city. ​

NEW YORK CITY — A Golden Globe winner and a Harlem-native has teamed up with the MTA to record a special message that will be heard by subway riders this weekend for Valentine's Day.

2026 Golden Globe winner Teyana Taylor recorded the Valentine’s Day message that will be playing in subway stations throughout the city.

“Hey New York, it’s your girl Teyana Taylor,” the actor says in the message. “Whether you’re riding with someone you love, or just loving the ride, the subway’s here for you. Enjoy the ride, happy Valentine’s Day.”

In addition, the MTA, in preparation for Valentine’s Day, have begun placing heart-shaped decals at the Times Sq-42 St station and handed out heart-shaped stickers to riders.

The MTA is also placed red hearts on No. 1, 2, and 3 subway trains, with the agency calling it the“love train."

Taylor joins a long list of celebrities, including rapper Cardi B, who have lent their voices for subway public service announcements over the years.
