Here Are NYC’s 2022 James Beard Award Finalists

NEW YORK CITY — Get ready to start making reservations, New York City gourmands.

A veritable smorgasbord of New York City restaurants — along with their chefs — were named as finalists for the 2022 James Beard Awards.

The prestigious culinary prize winnowed their previously announced semifinalists, which included a wider swath of Big Apple eateries and cooks, to this list of nominees. From here, the crème de la crème will be chosen.

“Winners will be celebrated at the James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards ceremony on Monday, June 13, 2022, at the Lyric Opera of Chicago,” the James Beard Foundation’s announcement states.

Here are the New York City restaurants and chefs who made the second-to-final cut.
