Man Slashed, Stabbed Near Times Square: NYPD
One suspect was taken into custody after the incident.
NEW YORK CITY — One person is in custody after a stabbing in Midtown early Wednesday morning that left one man injured, police said.
The incident happened near West 40th Street and 7th Avenue around 1:50 a.m.
According to the NYPD, a 30-year-old man was slashed across the face and stabbed him in the back. The man was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

One suspect was taken into custody after the incident, charges against him are pending. Police may be looking for two other suspects in connection with the stabbing.
