NEW YORK CITY — The world's most fashionable human beings have descended on New York City for Fashion Week — the twice annual reminder that everyday people dress extremely lame.

This year's fall fashion week features shows by world-renowned designers such as Desigual, Tom Ford an Jeremy Scott and will run from Thursday, Sept. 7 to Wednesday, Sept. 13. In addition to fashion industry superstars, many fashion-obsessed celebrities of the music, film and art world often attend shows because they can actually afford to buy clothes donned by the models.

The Shows

Tom Ford kicked off New York Fashion Week with a Wednesday night show, but the week is about more than a few big-name designers. Each day of Fashion Week features a handful of shows from industry veterans, up and comers and brands both well-known and new.
