Geoffrey Byruch lists New York City's best seafood restaurants.

New York is known for its incredible food and famous restaurants. Often times it’s the food that brings in many tourists year-round. With so many cuisines to choose from, every restaurant will have their own specialties. One cuisine that is very popular among New Yorkers is seafood, leaving an abundance of amazing restaurants to try around the city:

Aquagrill – SoHo

Since its opening in 1996, Aquagrill has given its patrons the freshest oysters and a large variety of other seafood. Although it may not look it on the outside, the inside is filled with delectable tastes and a diverse menu filled with interesting dishes. Luke’s Lobster – East Village

When Maine is too far to try fresh lobster, Luke’s Lobster in the East Village is the perfect destination. Luke’s Lobster brings in Maine’s best selection of lobster, shrimp, and crab. Much like Maine, there are no fillers served with their delicious rolls. Each crab, lobster, and shrimp roll is stuffed with fresh seafood in a buttered bun, mayo, lemon butter, and topped Luke’s secret seasoning. Seats fill up fast in this small restaurant, but takeout and delivery are available for those who can’t find a seat.

Milos – Midtown

For an elegant feel, while dining on some of the best seafood dishes in the city, Milos is the perfect spot. They offer Mediterranean seafood with unique fish dishes such as barbouni, maridaki, emperor, gonos, kakavia or achnisto. Milos is an upscale spot that offers the best seafood Greece has to offer but served in the heart of Midtown. Although this establishment can tend to be a bit pricey, their food is worth every penny.
