NEW YORK CITY — New Yorkers facing coronavirus quarantine will get a little pick-me-up from the city's Test and Trace program.

The packages will include masks, hand sanitizer, disposable wipes, snacks and two items — a disposable thermometer and oximeter — people can use to monitor COVID-19 systems, said Amanda Johnson, director of the city's "Take Care" program.

Johnson said the Take Care initiative has helped New Yorkers connect with hotels for isolation and food deliveries, among other services.
