NYC Subway Delays: Person Struck By Train Causes Slowdowns
Eleven different subway lines were delayed Tuesday morning, including the 2/5 after a person was struck by a train, according to the MTA.

NEW YORK CITY — Nearly a dozen subway lines saw slowdowns Tuesday morning, including two that had service suspended after a train struck a person in The Bronx, according to the MTA.
Trains on the 2 and 5 line were partly suspended while emergency crews responded to a person struck at East 180th Street, the MTA posted at 8:03 a.m.
As of 8:41 a.m., trains were still skipping East 180th Street as NYPD officers investigated, a post states.

NYPD officials had no additional information on a person being struck by a train.
Other broad delays were seen on Queens-bound E/F/M/R trains as crews dealt with a signal problem near Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue, the MTA posted at 6:51 a.m.

B and D trains headed south saw delays after a train had its brakes activated near Grand Street, according to a 7:35 a.m. post.
And overnight rain caused flooding on tracks — and delays — for the A/C, L and R lines, the MTA tweeted. All the water appeared to have been cleared by 8:50 a.m.
