Massive fire rips through NYC restaurants, injuring 6 firefighters (nypost.com) — A four-alarm fire in a Williamsburg commercial building on North 5th Street injured six firefighters and damaged three restaurants, including longtime neighborhood favorite Juliette. Crews battled a smoke explosion and partial roof collapse before bringing the blaze under control, and city inspectors are now assessing the building's structural safety. No civilian injuries were reported, but the cause remains under investigation.
