Bronx Drug Dealers Used Hot Iron On Kidnapped Man's Buttocks: DA
Two Bronx men busted with $1 million worth of drugs stand accused of kidnap and assault as well, prosecutors announced Wednesday.

NEW YORK CITY — A drug-dealing duo busted with $1 million worth of narcotics also stands accused of kidnapping a man whose buttocks they scalded with a hot iron, prosecutors contend.
Ronny Jimenez Peralta and Cesar Jimenez Alonso will be arraigned Wednesday in Manhattan Supreme Court on charges linked to the kidnapping and possession of heroin, fentanyl and other drugs, prosecutors said.
"This case shows that the illegal narcotics trade not only brings deadly fentanyl to the Bronx, but guns and brutality," Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark said in a statement. "Fortunately investigators intercepted the drugs before they hit the streets."

Peralta and Alonso allegedly kidnapped their victim — whom they accused of stealing drugs from them — in Morris Park on Jan. 31 about 3:20 a.m., prosecutors said.
“There is no consideration in this situation," Alonso told the man, according to the indictment. "Because of this, brothers will end up killing each other."

The pair shoved a ski mask over the man's head, took him to their basement apartment on Bronxdale and Morris Park avenues, then bound his ankles at hands, prosecutors said.
Alonso then pressed a hot iron to the man's bare buttocks, said prosecutors.
The pair released the man more than eight hours after they'd abducted him, but repeated their threats to another man later that day, according to the indictment.
"All you have to do is get what belongs to me," Jimenez Peralta allegedly told the second man. "If you are interested in keeping your family and yourself safe."
One day later, Jimenez Peralta and Alonso were arrested in a pickup truck with Florida plates and a gun behind the driver's seat, prosecutors said.
Drug Enforcement Administration agents also found 4.2 kilograms of heroin, fentanyl, cocaine and synthetic fentanyl stashed in the living room of the Bronxdale Avenue apartment, and under the bed, prosecutors said.
The seized drugs — worth an estimated $1 million — were separate from the stolen drugs that investigators believe prompted the kidnapping and assault, a spokesperson for the city's special narcotics prosecutor told Patch. The stolen drugs weren't recovered as far as authorities know, the spokesperson said.
“This kidnapping exposes the brutality associated with drug trafficking," said DEA representative Tim Foley.
"DEA is focused on bringing to justice the drivers of violence and drug overdoses in our communities, like Jimenez-Peralta and Jimenez-Alonso."
