1 Dies When 3 Motorcycles Collide In Harriman State Park

The 25-year-old Brooklyn resident was on a Sunday ride.

TUXEDO, NY — One man died when three motorcyclists riding in Harriman State Park in the Hudson Valley Sunday collided Sunday.

Police said the three were on Kanawauke Road in Tuxedo when Mohammed Kamil of Brooklyn failed to negotiate a curve. He was riding a 2009 Suzuki.

He struck one of his companions, who was operating a 2008 Harley Davidson. The third bike, a 2016 Harley Davidson, then struck the Suzuki.

The 25-year-old was thrown from his motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

New York State police were assisted by the Tuxedo EMS, Town of Tuxedo Fire Department and New York State Park Police.
