12YO Who Wowed 'America's Got Talent' Judges Sings in Rockland Concert Series

Grace VanderWaal will be returning to "AGT" to perform in a live round.

Pomona, NY — The young singer who got judge Howie Mandel to hit the golden buzzer on “America’s Got Talent” in June came home to perform as the opening act at the Ramapo Summer Concert Series.

Grace VanderWaal of Suffern, who is 12, played her ukulele and sang for the Ramapo Recreation Department’s annual concert series at Palisades Credit Union Park, the Journal News said.

At the audition, normally uber-critical Simon Cowell said he thought VanderWaal was the next Taylor Swift.
