2 Brooklyn Men Enter Pleas Over Rockland Home Invasion, Shooting
They menaced two children, prosecutors said.

ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY — Two men from Brooklyn involved in a home invasion in Garnerville in September pleaded guilty Thursday to attempted murder and endangering the welfare of a child.
The two forced their way into an apartment on Hasbrouck Drive on Sept. 7, forced two children they found inside to stay quiet, ransacked the place and then pistol-whipped the adult relative who arrived. He ran out and they left, shooting at him, Rockland County District Attorney Thomas E. Walsh II said in an announcement.
Police departments across Rockland were given a description of the suspects' vehicle. An officer from Stony Point saw one matching the description and attempted to stop it. After a brief pursuit, the two got out and ran away.
