259 Hudson Valley Customers Without Power: O&R

Tropical Storm Henri was nothing like its August 2020 predecessor, Isaias.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Tropical Storm Henri caused scattered power outages for Orange & Rockland Utilities' New York customers.

As of 10:40 a.m. Monday, O&R reported 93 customers out in Rockland County, 91 in Sullivan, 70 in Orange and five in Ulster.

The utility had planned a massive storm response:

While Westchester was forecast to be most in the path of Tropical Storm Henri, Con Ed only had 106 customers out of power Monday morning. Central Hudson had more than 900 customers out; NYSEG had just over 200 customers out.
