Clarkstown School District Sets 3 Finalists Visits

The Clarkstown school community has chances to meet each of the three finalists for the superintendent position:

• Dr. Douglas S. Adams, Superintendent, Ramapo Central School District
• Mr. Martin D. Cox, Superintendent, Sodus Central School District
• Dr. Jeffrey R. Rabey, Superintendent, Depew Union Free School District

Each of the finalists will be spending a full day in the district visiting schools and participating in a variety of activities and meetings. The day will end for each candidate with an additional interview by the Board of Education.

Each will also hold two information sessions open to the public.

The Board of Education will be asking for feedback after hearing from the candidates.

Next steps:

• Following the candidate visits, the school board will discuss outcomes and review the feedback received from staff and community members involved in the comprehensive district visit process.
• Members of the board will make a site visit to the home district of the finalist

The Board plans to make the announcement of a new superintendent by mid-February.
