55 New Citizens Will be Sworn In at Good Samaritan Sept. 23
They come from 28 different countries.

Rockland County Clerk Paul Piperato will host a naturalization ceremony at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Good Samaritan Hospital, in Suffern.
Piperato will administer the Oath of Allegiance to 55 new citizens from 28 different countries. Prior to the ceremony, the hospital will welcome the new citizens and their families with breakfast and a wide array of health-related information.

Dr. Dennis Mao, Assistant Medical Director of the Emergency Department and Trauma Services will be the keynote speaker. Rockland County Executive Ed Day and Dr. Mary Leahy, Chief Executive Officer of Good Samaritan Hospital, will offer welcoming remarks. Hon. Victor J. Alfieri, Jr. will serve as the officiating Supreme Court Justice.
Two organ donor recipients will speak on behalf of the New York Organ Donor Network. Michael Mark and Good Samaritan employee Penny Mann will present several patriotic musical performances.
