• Guilty plea in Haverstraw deadly shooting (midhudsonnews.com) — A Garnerville man has pleaded guilty in Rockland County Court in New City to manslaughter for a 2024 fatal shooting in Haverstraw, and faces 20 years in state prison. Prosecutors say he chased the victim after a street fight and fired into his car as he drove away, then fled to South Carolina before being arrested and extradited back to New York.
