Boil Water Order Lifted

Friday morning's water main break on Scandia Road has been repaired and the water has been tested.

SUEZ reports:

On May 30, the Rockland County Health Department lifted a boil water order issued on May 27 for the following addresses:
Hamlet of Congers
• Scandia Rd.- # 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 33, 34
• Ivy Ct.- # 2, 4, 6, 8, 10
• Linda Ct. - # 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12
• Robin Ct. - # 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14
• Viking Ct. - # 1, 2, 3, 4, 6
• Beth Ln. - # 2, 4, 6, 8, 10
• Georgetown Manor Condos - # 160 (5 units), 162, 164 (6 units), 168 (8 units), # 172 (4 units), 176 (4 units), 180 (5 units), # 184 (7 units), 188 (9 units), 192 (7 units)
It is no longer necessary for these customers to boil their water prior to consumption.
Lab results indicate that the water meets all safe drinking water standards.
