Car Hits Post, Car At New City Strip Mall

No structural damage was done to the building.

NEW CITY, NY — Clarkstown police were called to 305 S. Little Tor Road on a report that a car had driven into a building. But when they got to the recently built strip mall just after 10 a.m. Thursday, they found a vehicle had been driven over the curb and into a post causing it to strike another vehicle.

New City Fire Department and the Clarkstown Building Department also responded.

No injuries were reported. The building was deemed safe to resume business, police said.
