Catholic Community Services of Rockland 6th Sixth Annual Community Service Celebration Dinner on Oct. 17

Haverstraw-based nonprofit Catholic Community Services of Rockland will hold its 6th Sixth Annual Community Service Celebration Dinner on the evening of October 17th at the Colonial Inn in Norwood, N.J.  Among 2013 honorees: Rev. Arthur Mastrolia – Community Service Award and Detective Lt. Mary Murphy & Detective Lily - Community Service Award; Restaurateur Peter Kelly - Business Community Service Award; Jimmy & Elvie Abordo of Rockland Ambulette Services -- Business Community Service Award; Mr. & Mrs. Jose and Celeste Peña - Lifetime Volunteer Community Service, and Dalton Feely Youth Community Service Award. 

 

Dinner tickets are $100 each and can be purchased by calling Catholic Community Services of Rockland (845) 942-5791. Proceeds from the Dinner will help CCSR’s mission of “Meeting the Need” in Rockland. Whether it’s providing food to Rockland’s hungry, helping a family stay housed by preventing an eviction or homelessness or keeping power on for an elderly couple, Catholic Community Services of Rockland helps meet that need – serving non-Catholics and Catholics alike.
