Clarkstown Cops: Shoplifting Incident at Macy's

Police have a Connecticut man in custody.

A Connecticut man faces charges connected to a shoplifting incident at the Palisades mall.

At 2 PM April 9 the Clarkstown Police Department responded to Macy’s for a report of shoplifting.

Store employees told police they saw the suspect, Francis Carillo, 35 of Stamford, CT taking clothing without paying for it. The merchandise was valued at $1,200.

Carillo was arrested and transported to police headquarters for processing. He was charged with grand larceny 4th (felony) and criminal possession of stolen property 4th (felony).

Bail was set at $5,000 and he was transported to the Rockland County Jail. He will return to court on April 11.
