Clarkstown Police Blotter: Jan. 8-15

Medical emergencies and vehicle/traffic accidents topped the call list the week ending Jan. 15.

NEW CITY, NY — Medical emergencies were one of the most frequent calls to which the Clarkstown police responded the week of Jan. 8-15. According to the Facebook chart, there were 131 medical emergencies, accounting for 23 percent of calls.

There were 65 vehicle and traffic accidents to which police were called in the 7-day period.

The biggest category, of course, is the catch-all category: alarms, animal incidents, information, reports of a suspicious person/vehicle. That category alone accounts for more than half of the calls to the department last week.
