Clarkstown Woman Accused Of Driving Drunk In Pelham

Her blood alcohol content was determined to be .20 percent, more than twice the legal limit, police said.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — New York State police accused Megon M. Daniel of Congers of drunken driving after stopping a car she was operating at 2:15 a.m. on Saturday.

Police said they stopped the car on Interstate 95 in the town of Pelham for numerous vehicle and traffic violations.

Troopers concluded that Daniel, 32, was intoxicated, police said.

She was taken into custody, transported and processed at State Police barracks in New Rochelle where her blood alcohol content was determined to be .20 percent, more than twice the legal limit, police said.

She faces a charge of aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. She was released wto a sober third party and is due in the Town of Pelham Court on July 7.
