CLEAT COLLECTION

Looking for a place to donate your new or used cleats?

Once again, Clarkstown Soccer Club is holding their annual cleat collection program. This year, Luke Borelli and Eric Maurer are working with their friends to collect cleats. The Borelli family has been working on this project for several years and has collected over 700 cleats. These are donated locally, to People to People, and in Latin America to an organization called “Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos” (Our Little Children), who distributes the shoes to orphans. Last year’s donation went to Nicaragua.

There will be donation containers at the Felix Festa fields during the Clarkstown Soccer Club games on Saturday and Sunday, September 13 and 14. The collection will also continue the following weekend.
