Community Mourns Retired K-9's Death

CLARKSTOWN, NY — Retired K9 officer Taz died at age 12, and the Clarkstown community has rallied around the police officer who was his handler.

"Officer Mike Keane would like to thank the community for the incredible outpouring of support he has received over the past few days," CPD officials said on Facebook.

"It is heartwarming to know the support of the community for our K9 teams is second to none. K9 TAZ was not just a partner, he was a member of the family."
