UPDATE: Route 303 in Blauvelt Closed Till About 1PM

Orangetown police are advising that State Route 303 between Bradley Hill Road and Erie Street will be closed until about 1pm. This closure is due to a tree down across the roadway that impacts electrical wires and other overhead utilities.

All vehicle traffic should avoid the area and take alternate routes such as Route 9W or Western Highway to travel north or south through the Town of Orangetown.

Route 303 southbound has been closed in the area of Route 59 due to downed trees in the town of Orangetown, according to Clarkstown police.

Please avoid the area and use alternate routes to avoid delays.
