Driver Dies After New City Car Crash
The 2-car collision closed Route 304 for several hours Monday.
NEW CITY, NY — A Stony Point woman died Monday night hours after a 2-car crash in New City. Clarkstown police said the investigation is still ongoing.
Police were called to the intersection of Route 304 and Cosmos Lane at about 2:36 p.m. Louise Ruffino, 86,suffered severe injuries and was transported to Westchester Medical Center for treatment.
Route 304 was closed in both directions from Squadron Boulevard to Cosmos Lane for several hours.

No summons has been issued or arrest made in this investigation, police said.
