Early Voting In Rockland Primaries Starts June 17

Early voting begins June 17 in 11 primaries in Rockland County, for candidates seeking party lines on ballots in November.

ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY — Early voting begins June 17 in 11 primaries in Rockland County, for candidates seeking Conservative, Democratic, Republican or Working Families parties lines for various November elections.

Rockland will have five Early Voting Centers for the primary election:

  • Clarkstown Town Hall, 10 Maple Avenue, New City, New York 10956
  • Haverstraw Town Hall, 1 Rosman Road, Garnerville, New York 10923
  • Orangetown Town Hall, 26 West Orangeburg Road, Orangeburg, New York 10962
  • Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, New York 10901
  • Stony Point Community Center (RHO), 5 Club House Lane, Stony Point, New York 10980

In Rockland County registered voters may access any early voting center.

There is a Republican primary in County Legislative District 10:

In Clarkstown, there is a Republican primary for supervisor because Rockland GOP Party Chairman Lawrence Garvey petitioned to get on the ballot while Town Supervisor George Hoehmann was fighting the town's term limits law in court.
