First-time hunters looking to obtain their New York State hunting license can take the required hunter education course on Sept. 14, 15 and 16 at Clarkstown Town Hall.
The three-day program takes place from 7 to 11 p.m. each nite. Participants must attend all three sessions to complete the course. Registration is not required. Participants need to bring paper and pen.
