Mr. Geyer's Travel Camp is designed to promote the exploration and importance of science and history for students entering grades 5 through 9. It's an amazing opportunity to travel for 5 days to diverse historical, environmental and geologic science locations every day. Students will hike, explore, visit museums, mineral mines, powerplants, recycling facilities, and the Hudson River Estuary. The daily itinerary may change based on weather considerations. Mr. Geyer is the camp's owner and he will accompany the children on each trip. He is a New York State Certified Earth Science teacher for 19 years at Felix Festa Middle School in the Clarkstown Central School District. His background will provide valuable insight to the places they explore and visit. The camp is offered in conjunction with the Clarkstown Central School District's Community Learning Center, www.ccsd.edu/clc To Register: call to register 845-304-7285 or email dgeyer5@yahoo.com
