Open House for Paralegal Program at RCC

Come and learn all about RCC’s Paralegal Program, and you can even sign up for classes. Speak with people from the program and get information about internships and job opportunities. You can earn an Associate of Applied Science or a post-degree certificate in Paralegal Studies at RCC, and the program is approved by the American Bar Association.

RCC has a dedicated paralegal staff to assist with job placement for students and graduates, and all course instructors are professional attorneys or paralegals with many years of experience. The open house will be held in the Student Union, second floor, Room 3214.

According to the US Department of Labor website - employment of paralegals and legal assistants is projected to grow 28% between 2008 and 2018, much faster than the average for all occupations. “They regularly rank the paralegal field as one of the fastest growing in the nation,” said Deborah Vinecour, Esq., Chair/Associate Professor, Paralegal Program. Vinecour, also notes, “There are so many different varieties of paralegal work, and RCC offers a good generalized paralegal education. It’s a wonderful starting point for anyone.”
