Flags at Clarkstown Town Hall and Facilities Lowered to Half Staff
The town is making the gesture in memory of the victims of the Orlando attack.
Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann has ordered all flags at Town Hall and other town facilities to be lowered to half staff until Thursday to commemorate the victims of the terrorist attack in Orlando, Florida on June 12.Â
Hoehmann said, “As we mourn together over the loss of our fellow, innocent Americans, our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of those we lost in this horrific act in Orlando yesterday."Â
A vigil is planned for Wednesday night in New City, organized by the Rockland County Civil Rights Commission.
