New Flood Watch for the Hudson Valley: NWS
Yes, it's a beautiful day, but the National Weather Service is thinking about tonight and Thursday.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — With more soaking rain, gusty winds and possible thunderstorms coming Wednesday night through the Thursday evening commute, the National Weather Service has issued Flood Watches all over the Hudson Valley for the second time this week.
"The timing will need to be tweaked, but it does appear that our Thursday looks quite stormy," said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather. "On the average… another inch to an inch and a half of rain appears possible."
Enjoy Wednesday, where temperatures will be about 5 degrees above average.

Then, the NWS says,
Rainfall, heavy at times, is forecast Thursday before gradually decreasing from west to east Thursday night. Thunderstorms with locally heavier rainfall rates are also possible, especially during Thursday afternoon. Any new rainfall will exacerbate already swollen rivers and streams.
Total rainfall of around one and a half to two inches expected, with locally higher amounts possible. In addition to the potential for river flooding, urban and small stream flooding remains possible.
